SWABI: An unidentified gunman opened fire on police as a result of which, a policeman was injured in Police Lines area, Aaj News reported on Tuesday.

According to police, an armed attacker entered Police Lines premises and opened fire on the security personnel that injured one policeman.

Meanwhile, the police force opened retaliatory action that killed the attacker.

Soon after the incident, the security forces cordoned off the entire area and started investigation.
