ISLAMABAD: At least three people were injured when a gas cylinder exploded in Khana Bridge area of the federal capital in the wee hours of Monday, Aaj News reported.

According to rescue sources, the explosion took place in a basement of a marriage hall located in Khanna Bridge area of the federal capital, left three people injured.

The blast completely destroyed the basement of the hall and partially damaged nearby buildings, the rescue sources said.

Soon after the incident, the injured were taken to the nearby hospital.
